The lovely wedding of Fliss and Rich took place in an old church largely unchanged since the blitz. What an amazing venue, such a pleasure to shoot there. With travel arrangements provided by a London Bus and a fabulous bunch of people to share the day with it was a great wedding to be a part of.
An at home newborn session with little Jessica. I shot this on a mixture of digital and Kodak Portra film. I think you can notice the subtle differences in colours and worth that shooting on film brings.
Not all weddings are huge affairs. Some are small, intimate and perfectly formed. Just like the wedding of Megan and Phil. I love these sorts of days, it's just about the couples close family and friends and the things that matter the most.
Bodge the Labrador puppy couldn't help but get his best buddies in on the action.
I love this kind of at home and relaxed family shoot. It lets the real love and relationships in your family shine through. Theres no uptight posing, it's just real life, shot beautifully for you to remember.
Some lovely relaxed family photos taken at the family's home.
I headed back to where I grew up in Lincolnshire to photograph Grace and Chris on their big day.
The sun shone and I witnessed some of the best German um pah dancing I've ever seen, I will leave you to imagine the rest!
Kirsty and Colin were married in the sunshine at Auchen Castle near Moffat. A lovely day with close family and friends.
Bolt the young Lab pup had a blast in the snow during this dog portrait session.
Beautiful Olivia complimented by stunning natural light. A window and your new family addition are all we need to get natural and timeless photos to cherish.
The winter light in Scotland can be amazing and Beecraigs Country Park near Edinburgh treated us to just that on a chilly morning!
This shoot was all about nailing the group shot, the family were looking for lots of options to choose from for a gift to a grandparent. There's loads of locations in the Borders and Lothian that can open up options for a shoot like this.
In big or small groups we can still work together to make group shots look unforced and hopefully have a bit of a laugh while we are at it.
