A series of photos taken in answer to the Welsh concept of Y Fillitir Sgwar or 'The Square Mile'. It is the intimate connection between people and their childhood home surroundings. I don't live near my childhood surroundings anymore so I used this concept to help me to understand how my child see's his home surroundings.
The series was shot on what I called 'RoCam', a chest mounted camera worn by Rowan. Doing this really helped me to appreciate how he sees the world. How things which seem so small to me are huge to him, it has in some ways changed my attitude to how he sometimes behaves.
